Before becoming Of Counsel to Kienbaum Hardy Viviano Pelton & Forrest in 2005, Ms. Hill Johnstone was an attorney with Ford Motor Company’s Office of the General Counsel, where she had worked since 1984. While at Ford, Ms. Hill Johnstone handled the full range of employment matters, including managing employment litigation and defending discrimination claims. She provided legal advice to the company in connection with five national labor contract negotiations on such matters as health care and joint company/union programs.

Ms. Hill Johnstone also has considerable experience with employment policies and procedures, investigations, and executive compensation. Ms. Hill Johnstone’s practice within the firm includes equal employment matters and preventive counseling. Ms. Hill Johnstone received both her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Michigan.
