Overview

Christiane (Chris) McKinley leads KHVPF’s transactional practice and brings more than 25 years of legal experience counseling clients on complex corporate matters. Prior to joining the firm, she led the transactional practice group at Oakland Lawyers Group, PLLC, advising founders, executives and global corporate clients on complex business matters, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, finance/lending, real estate, leasing, intellectual property, commercial contracts, corporate governance and entity maintenance, litigation strategy and oversight, and employment issues. Chris also previously worked as in-house counsel for two financial institutions and was a partner at Bodman PLC.

Chris holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a B.S. in Civil Engineering, cum laude, from University of Detroit. She is licensed to practice law in Michigan and holds a Michigan Professional Investigator License. She also serves as Executive Board Secretary for Forest Hills Swim Club.
